SPARComperes Camp

Shout out to all Compere and SPARC alumni! The SPARC and Comperes camp is up again! Mark it down on your calenders!

Date: 11-14 June
Venue: SP

I know you guys are reading this but pass it around to your fellow ex members to get them down for this camp. It really doesnt matter how "EX" we are coz the spirit is still there aye?

Our juniors are working their hearts out as Im typing this. For the 1st time in a awhile, I can safely say that this years camp will make sure our new comperes and SPARCS gel till theres no seperating. I believe that they will own this camp! Amen!

Please let me know if you're coming down because I believe that this can be a reunion for all us "ex"s and the juniors will be able to hear alot of interesting stories and motivation from us.

As Im typing this, Im terribly intruiged by the proposed nightwalk. It is FREAKING spooky! They've got this whole flea market concept for all the stations and the members have to fulfill different tasks to satisfy the different ghosts just to get their list of items. They gotta help a dead women to find her dead baby (foetus) or play five stones with a bunch of dead kids (their stones get lost as they throw it in the air) and other freaky stuff...Im sooo impressed by this bunch of kids! You guys should come and help out man! if you're free for the whole day, let me know asap so that we can get you in as a helper... :) if you want to, you can sleep over. the camp site will be at moberly and SAA level 3. did I forget to mention watching a horror movie before the nightwalk?

Look forward to seeing you there!

God Bless!

Pirates!

Watched the Pirates of The Carribean 3 yesterday. Its a show worth watching again! :)

By the time I got home, I got a scolding from my dad..the worst quarrel/discussion we ever had in 2 years I guess...anyway cutting things short...We had the longest talk...I did cry but I think it ended on an okay note...

What I really wanted to say n this blog was how impressed I was with my make-up artist club. Some of you know how Ive been exclaiming on how ironic it is for me to be in charge of a club that doesnt fit my character or taste buds...Now Im a convert...Not so much so that I wud change my whole appearance...but I now know that make-up is a very skilled art, that takes logic, creativity and a helluva lot fo practice...AMEN...
My students have been bugging me to go under the knife...(shaver, plucker..what have you) as my president wud say, " every girl's face must be a work of art" I prefer the "nude" face type of art..or..clean,white,undisturbed canvas.
Truth is...shud I ever decide to go on stage..I MUST know how to do my own make-up...the proper way...
As I saw my student do the make-up yesterday, she explained the purpose of any application when anyone asked...as if she knew all that like the back of her hand...my dear miracle child...

Graduation Ceremony is happening these 3 days..I saw soo many students graduate...maybe thats what it feels like to have students who have grown... :) I congratulated and said hi and took pics etc..will miss them man! Must come back hor!!!

God Bless

Spore Botanic Gardens

Went to help my friend with their SSO event yesterday at Botanic Gardens.

Spore Symphony was playing popular classics (even for those that dun know classical music)

I was helping with distributing the goodie packs and drinks and even that was abit of hard labour hahahah 1000 bags of stuff and 2000 paxs of drinks are heavy.

Im quite shocked to see how good the turn out is! I would have wanted to be part of the audience too and bring my mum and sis out for mum's day...pity we couldnt. The fcat that it rained int he morning evidently didnt matter to these people! hahahhahaha Anyway...the whole field was full of people and the Orchestra was its usual good standard. :)

It also got my mind off the students.

Tok later...im hungry

Ive got bad temper

Yeah guess what..I finally admit it. I have a terribly bad temper...working in a field that makes me look at student's bad sides....makes me worse...I hate myself for this. Maybe this is what jimmy feels when he scolds us...but Jimmy was never wrong...plus..jimmy never gave people "the face"

Im ashamed for my scowls and frowns and Im ashamed for all of that...while I feel some students deserve scoldings...I have nothing to defend myself... so while a small part of me wants to get back at the students...what do I have to say to myself? Am I an angel? Duh no!

Sooo...I can only say that till I can justify that I was never in the wrong...I cant defend myself. I leave this all to God (who's more powerful and justified) I know my mistake now...

While I check the TV now...I cant bear to look at my own mistakes again...I cant bear to see myself on TV, doing things I know I shudnt have done.

God, forgive me...I did something you wouldnt have wanted me to do... Im trying to keep my anger still and Im ashamed for my temper...

Jimmy, if you ever had sleepless nights just regretting you scolded us, rest assured that none of us held it against you. You're such a good teacher that all of us are so fortunate to have...how can we ask for more.

While I say all this and recount jimmy's words, it makes me want to sing with my real voice, even more.

God Bless

I HATE stupid people!!!!

WWWAAAHHHHH I hate stupid irresponsible people! I HATE people who cant even pity a surveyor to do a simple questionaire PROPERLY!?!?!

Had an arguement with students at moberly. Turns out they are my DMC juniors. it sorta stikes a cord of dissappointment in me. How can my own Dip students be sooo moronic. These students are smart yet dumb, self righteous...the epitomy of self righteousness. At these times I am ashamed to be from the same Dip yet my heart is for my lecturers and offciers (whom I am one now) who are constantly fighting on. Were me, Id give up and leave these idiots to rot.

On the other hand,

I have students who are darlings! They study hard, try their best and are good to their parents who might not be the best of people. Some are insane, some are abusive...

Do you get what I mean? Theire worlds are so unfair. I would switch these 2 groups around. In fact, after my talk with my student, I thought to myself that should I ever have a daughter like her, I would say my prayers and thank God! I would sayang her like crazy!

I lost abit of hope today seeing the students like that. They dont deserve facilities like that. The ones that deserve them are the students who are mature. Even my international students are better mannered than them.

Anyway...today was a bad day. I know I wouldnt survive in SP very long but I will always love my clubs.

BTW..got a new club..SP Make-Up Artists Club.
Do I wear make-up? last I checked...only on a full moon....anyway..these 2 girls..my President and vice president..seem like very nice girls..they are earnest to learn...I think they can go very far.... :) They even want to book a date with me for my big makeover....emmm..ahhh...the weather very nice ah. Nice....clouds....emm rain clouds...emm gonna rain soon....

Havnt blogged in a long while...havnt had the time and everytime I want to do it..it always seems inconvenient..my song writing has come to a stand still too. All I know is htta I still wanna sing...

I miss school...I miss studying and having some free time after lessons to hang with frens...if anythingelse..I miss having frens, holidays and having fun...something Ive lost...

Had my comperes interviews recently..lots to talk abt that..its got its good and bad points...anyway..will update soon. :)

Anyway whoever are hte people who read my blog..thanks for the company. its rare but its appreciated. I havnt kept in touch much and havnt said my thanks to many so I'll say my thank's and hi's here

God BLESS!
