Disclaimer: excuse my bad typing skills...
So did I mention that I was leaning my head against that same glass panel that shattered? Think if the stone had been any harder and made a hole in the plass panel, then it would have been able to hit my eye...we took the detour, waited hours for the glass to be replaced...
Byt het ime we got tot he hotel, it was dinner. So we checked in and dropped our stuff in, then went on to the dinner place. A Marche version of Steamboat. The food was limited but I must say that whatever we had was good. they had 3 types of soup base..the spicy, the normal and the herbal. Byt he time we were done..we were super full! So to walk it off, we walked around the local Lepak area..abit like Holland V really. Very cool with a fw pubs here and there.
Tried to do some songwriting and because of that, ended up sleeping really late.
We got up super early, headed to the local kopitiam to have really nice breakfast, benedict egg, chee cheong fun, kuehs etc...the locals all thought we were from Penang because our cantonese was different from theirs.
After the heavy breakfast, we went to visit the Ipoh Tree, took a helluva lot of pictures man! Took of kids and plants etc. Then after lunch we went to the caves. Infact all the caves were buddhist temples and the caves were mostly limestone so alot of beautiful features, stalacmites and stalactities etc. Very dark and really steep staircases up to the top. Obviously the view was magnificant and the weather was damn good! Alot like the ones movies use for martial art films when the hero stays in a cave to sharpen his skills etc
1 specific cave was really coola nd had a mega size chessboard in the parking area and a big wishing tree with red string, and organes etc tied to it. plus it had a really nice in-cave koi pond. Super duper cool. Im christian but I love their concept! Dont worry. I'll never convert.
After the caves, we were damn hungry so we went from place to place eating stuff...till the point of nature calling me desperately for the big and small. Hehehhahaha ran to the hotel room lor.
